Abby Falk
Pastor
Pastor Abby has served as our pastor since 2019. She is relatively new to Minnesota, coming from her home state of Michigan. Being a pastor’s kid, church has always been her “home” and she desires to connect others to the church community as “home.”

Before becoming our pastor, Abby served a number of churches as a children’s pastor. Abby her husband Keith have 5 teenagers between them. When she isn’t working or attending her kids’ activities, she enjoys waterfalls, reading, walking, traveling, and ice cream!
Deb Cupryna
Administrative Assistant
Deb Cupryna was Immanuel’s Administrative Assistant back in 1998, then moved with her husband,John to pastor a church in Independence, Iowa in 1999 for nine years and Spring Lake Park, Minnesota for two years. In 2011, now back in Maple Grove, Minnesota has found her home once again at Immanuel UMC.

Deb grew up in the United Methodist Church, attending and being confirmed at Church of Peace in Richfield, Minnesota. Her marriage of 38 years all started with the ceremony at Asbury United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. As a youth there were many summers spent at Church Camp Koronis in Paynesville, Minnesota.

Deb has three grown children and four grandchildren all of whom reside in Maple Grove. When time allows for a hobby, she loves to do creative projects and of course, spend time with her family.


Leanne LaFave
Pianist/Organist/Accompanist
Leanne LaFave has been a member of Immanuel UMC her entire life and is proud to call Immanuel her “home church”. She has been playing piano and organ at Immanuel over 40 years for Sunday services and also accompanies the choir. She also plays for special services, weddings, funerals and special music at Immanuel. She has also enjoyed playing for the Cross Community Players productions in the past.

Leanne’s full-time work is as a licensed Realtor with eXp Realty. She has proudly helped people buy and sell homes for almost 20 years.
​
Leanne has three grown children (Tonya, Holly and John) who all have children of their own making Leanne a very proud Grandma of 9! Leanne’s fourth child, daughter Jessie, sadly lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2009 at age 24 and is a presence that will forever be deeply missed by not only her immediate family, and countless friends, but also her extended family at Immanuel.Leanne’s favorite pastime is spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.
